MileSplit Miss. HSB T&F 1st-Team Standards, Week No. 3

Kennedy Stringfellow of Brandon High School put on an exceptional display, winning both the 100-meter dash and the long jump events. He recorded a time of 10.77 seconds in the 100-meter dash, and a distance of 22 feet, 11 inches in the long jump. He also took the top spot in the 200-meter dash, clocking a time of 21.57 seconds.

Cooper Rodgers from Raymond High School made a name for himself in the 400-meter dash, finishing with a time of 48.57 seconds, earning him the first place. 

In the 800-meter run, Sidney Stegall of Heritage Academy emerged victorious with a time of 1:58.71, while Jaquavion Bryant of Pearl High School recorded a time of 4:27.14 in the 1600-meter run, earning him the first place.

In the 110-meter hurdles, Jamari Page of Ridgeland High School proved to be the fastest, finishing with a time of 14.63 seconds. Javarius Molden of Hattiesburg High School was the standout in the 300-meter hurdles, clocking a time of 40.65 seconds.

In the field events, Julian Winters of Madison Central HS threw a distance of 49 feet, 9 inches, to secure the top spot in the shot put. Brodie Ezell of Brookhaven High School dominated the discus event, throwing a distance of 155 feet, 6 inches.

Last, but certainly not least, Oxford's John Scott Kendricks broke the Mississippi High School Boys Pole Vault state record, taking the record from older brother Sam Kendricks on his home turf at the Oxford Relays.
