Currently, it is no surprise that Clinton High School is the early leader in the 100m dash, with a squad average of 12.85 seconds. This is the only squad with an average under 13 seconds so far this season, and their top three athletes - Tacherria Lawson, Zharia Bonner, and Nakirsten Hughes - are ranked No. 2, 3, and 4 in the state, respectively.
With such a strong showing early on, it is clear that the Clinton Lady Arrows will be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming MHSAA 6A Track and Field Championships.
