Admiral Invitational

Ocean Springs High School is looking to have a Clinton in Gulfport on Saturday. They can potentially sweep the High School Girls competition with a score of 15 and are looking to win the High School Boys competition with ease as well.

A notable entry in the girl's field is Emerson Yelverton, an 8th-grader out of Biloxi High School who has gone 2:28 in the 800m and 5:47 in the 1600m.

Hickory Flat Invitational

Gabe McElwain of Walnut High School is seeded first in the 2022 Hickory Flat Invitational. Close behind McElwain is Parker LeGoff of Corinth High, who could challenge Walnut High's finest this weekend. This year the meet record of 16:43, held by Dylan Allen, is in jeopardy as both McElwain and LeGoff have a chance to battle for a new course record.

Four ladies will be battling to the line in high school girls' competition. Mia Dawson of Lafayette High has the fastest seed time of 19:26, but the fight for 2nd place is still up for grabs!

Forerunner XC Challenge

The 2022 Forerunner XC Challenge Yellow Division looks like it will be an Oak Grove High School Show.

Oak Grove is predicted to go 1st through 9th place while their seven-man team spread ranges 1:51 apart.

In the Green Division, Dallas Stricker and Henry Richardson should have a race of the ages, and we could potentially see a sub-17 5K out of Stricker.

Henry Richardson of the Hattiesburg Forerunners

Columbia Academy's Briley Speights and her teammate Madelyn McKenzie are predicted to run well and go take the top two spots in Varsity Girls Green Division.

The team battle between Columbia Academy and Hattiesburg Forerunners should be a good one, but we think the depth and pack running skills of Columbia will pull it off and get the win.

Okatibbee Classic Invitational

At the 2022 Okatibbee Classic Invitational, West Lauderdale High School Girls are the heavy favorite to win the Girl's 5K. Emily Snodgrass of West Lauderdale is seeded in the number one spot and will pull away for a victory this weekend.

In the High School Boys competition, it could be a showdown between Demopolis' Jaylen Reed, Evan Hallford of Neshoba Central, and Newton County's Cole Tadlock.
