This past weekend in Mississippi High School Track and Field was perhaps the craziest regular season in history.
13 Mississippi high school boys break 11 seconds in the 100m dash, with the winner running a U.S. #1 and breaking the state record. Several Mississippi #1's, and several Top-50 national marks. Historically deep events such as the High School 1600m, High School Boys High Jump, and 7th-grade girls 800m got even deeper.
