-Jessica Cartwright of Hernando wins the week and almost ties her PR of 2:24.85. Cartwright currently holds the fastest 800m of any Mississippi High School girl so far this year and remains undefeated in that event. 
-Emerson Yelverton, the little sister of Addison and Gracyn Yelverton who are currently leading the state in the 400m, recorded a time of 2:39 in the 800m at the 2022 Sabbatini Relays. The other two seventh-graders on this list are Samantha Kennedy of Oak Grove High and Leah Collipp of East Rankin Academy, who are currently among the top 11 7th-graders in the nation who have run the 800m in the 2022 outdoor track and field season. 
- The time difference between #10 and #25 in the High School Girls 800m is less than 3 seconds, which proves that this is one of the deepest Mississippi High School Girls have been in the 800m in the early season.
