Morgan opened up her season in classic 'Brookelyn Morgan' fashion, taking the win on her home course by 26 seconds, and taking down 5:32 miler Kate Gann in the process. It is clear that she has continued her fitness from her state title in the 3200m back in May. Her next outing will be in Florence, Alabama at the Brooks High School Cross Country Invitational, where she will pushed a little bit more, and has the chance to go for the win and/or snag a PR.
