**THERE WERE SOME TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES WITH LEAGUE RANKINGS REGARDING CLASS MHSAA 3A THAT HAVE NOW BEEN FIXED**

MHSAA 3A has some very interesting matchups, as we have a lot of different teams moving up and down from Class 3A. However, the overall favorite still stands to be defending MHSAA 3A XC State Champion Emily Ireland. Ireland is one of the best returners coming into this year, and also had a fantastic track season in the distance events. She won the 1600m and 3200m State titles in MHSAA 3A this past season, and also broke the elusive 12-minute barrier in the 3200m at Mississippi Meet of Champions, taking the Win in the process.
