It has been a crazy season with some outstanding performance but overall the participation is down and the overall performances are down. Most of this is expected after the shutdown last season and some schools just were not allowed to travel to some of the bigger meets. Some of the bigger meets at the State Universities were just not allowed to happen under the rules. Even so, the top athletes and some athletes that came out from behind did perform at the top level.
