Jordan Anthony, Tylertown High proved why he is to be considered the top sprinter in Mississippi placing third overall in the adidas National Indoor Championship 60 meter final. But to really cap it off he won the Open 200 finals running a PR 22.04.

One of the biggest performances came from Madison Jones, Saltillo High. She was entered in the 5k race on Friday and really was not considered a threat as the number 14 runner. She proved them wrong has she clock 17:28.40 to finish 5th and got that medal. To give you an idea how good this is her time indoors on a short 200 meter track is over 22 seconds faster than her cross country personal record for 5K. She also competed in the 1 mile run on Sunday running 5:02.
