MHSAA Boys Class 6A
Adam Gomez, Desoto Central was the surprise winner of the Class 6A boys race. Ranked no higher than fifth at the end of the regular season he moved away after the 1.4 mile mark to win comfortably. Adam I believe was the first Class 6A champion from Desoto Central.
In the team race it was Pearl High beating Ocean Springs 53 to 75. Pearl finished runners in 4th, 10th, 11th 13th and 15th to place four on the All State Team.
