Anyone in the top five could win this race on Monday at Choctaw Trail. This assumes that the weather will let the meet be run. Walt Johnson, Oxford leads the pack but Preston Burks, Hernando is only one second back. David Adams, Pearl has won several meet this year and could easily prove to be the one to beat. Clay Derrick, Oak Grove is another one that has had some success this year winning and is capable of winning at Choctaw Trails. Finally, you cannot count out the freshman Grayson Edwards, Northwest Rankin he has improved greatly this season and could surprise all the older runners. Only way to know is to come out and see the competition on Monday.
