Pearl returns at the top of the team list but Ocean Springs is only 14 points behind. Ocean Springs 5th man will need to step up if they want to have a chance. Pearl needs to avoid the injuries of last season to win State. Oxfords move to Class 6A relegates them to "just" third place in the preseason rankings.
