1. Clayton Fulgham, East Union, Senior 16:43.90 2016 - Pontotoc

He ran his fastest time on the fast Pontotoc course where he finished 2nd to a very good runner Dylan Allen of Moorville. Clayton  won Class 2A State easily in 17:18.40 on the much tougher Choctaw Trails (hills). A senior, he has run 5 years of cross country so is an experienced runner with many miles under his belt. He has a good  chance to break through the 16 minute barrier this year so look for him to lead the pace in many of the races he competes in.
