Oxford moving to Class 5A allows the always strong Saltillo HS to take over the top spot. Their overall lead of 45 points is due to the team average of 21:03.78 compated to Long Beach HS at an average of 21:53.72. Plus having seven runners in the top 20 compared to Long Beaches three goes a long way to the top ranking. Remember rankings are based on the top times from last season not on a one day race.
