Cross Country Invitational
You are invited to attend a cross country running event hosted by Corinth High School on Saturdav, October 16, 2010, in Corinth MS. Sponsored by Corinth Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
What: Corinth Cross Country Invitational
When: Saturday, October 16 at 9:00 a.m.
Where: The Trails @ Crossroads Regional Park (Directions on back)
309 South Parkway, Corinth, MS
Course: Multi-loop, natural course that is relatively flat. It is spectator friendly. Spikes may be worn.
Schedule: 8:30 a.m. All teams should be at course and checked-in.
9:00 a.m. Jr. High Girls 2 miles (7th & 8th grade only)
9:30 a.m. Jr. High Boys 2 miles (7th & 8th grade only)
10:00 a.m. Varsity/High School Boys 5K
10:45 a.m. Varsity/High School Girls 4K
11:30 a.m. Awards
Note: Entries in each race are unlimited. Junior high athletes may run in either the junior high division OR the varsity division.
Awards: INDIVIDUAL AWARDS T-shirts awarded to the top 40 finishers in varsity races and top 20 in junior high races.
TEAM AWARDSThe winning teams of each classification (1A - 6A) of the varsity competition will receive 'team champ' medals (10 medals).
Scoring: In varsity races, all classifications (1A-6A) will run together and scored based on overall finish. The winner of each classification will be the one that has the lowest overall team score.
Timing: TRAC Running Club from Florence, AL, will time and score the meet. Please send in your entry & roster by Friday, October 8, to allow time for all athletes to be entered into the system.
Entry Fee: $50 per team ($100 MAX per school). You may bring check to the meet OR mail with registration.
Registration: Preferred method: Using EXCEL spreadsheet, email team roster and division each athlete is running to kenwilliams@corinthcoke.com. (EXCEL spreadsheet, may be set up in the same format as the attached entry form, or I will email you one upon request).
