Cross Country Invitational
You are invited to attend a cross country running event hosted by Corinth High School on Saturday, September 29, 2012, in Corinth MS. Sponsored by Corinth Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
What: Corinth Cross Country Invitational
When: Saturday, September 29, at 9:00 a.m.
Where: The Trails @ Crossroads Regional Park
Across from Corinth Elementary School 1910 Droke Rd., Corinth, MS
Course: Multi-loop, natural course that is very flat. It is spectator friendly. Spikes may be worn.
Schedule: 9:00 a.m. All teams should be at course and checked-in.
9:15 a.m. 1A-3A Varsity/High School Girls 4K
9:45 a.m. 4A-6A Varsity/High School Girls 4K
10:15 a.m. 1A-3A Varsity/High School Boys 5K
11:00 a.m. 4A-6A Varsity/High School Boys 5K
11:45 a.m. Jr. High Boys 2 miles (7th & 8th grade only)
12:15 a.m. Jr. High Girls 2 miles (7th & 8th grade only)
12:30 p.m. Awards
Note: Entries in each race are unlimited. Junior high athletes may run in either the junior high division OR the varsity division.
Awards: INDIVIDUAL AWARDS T-shirts awarded to the top 25 finishers in varsity races and top 25 in junior high races. (150 awards)
TEAM AWARDSThe winning teams of each classification (1A - 6A) of the varsity competition will receive team champion medals (7 medals) as will the winning male and female teams in Jr. High races (7 medals) - (98 awards total)
Scoring: There will be two races each (1A-3A and 4A-6A) for varsity high school boys and girls.
Timing: TRAC Running Club from Florence, AL, will time and score the meet.
Entry Fee: $60 per team ($120 MAX per school). Individual runners $10 each. Please bring your check to the meet.
Registration: Please email your entry & rosters by Thursday, September 20, to allow time for all athletes to be entered into the system. Using an EXCEL spreadsheet, email team roster and division each athlete is running in to kenwilliams@corinthcoke.com.
Confirmation: You will receive an email registration confirmation. You are not registered unless you receive a
confirmation.
