We would like to invite your school to compete in George Countys Nature Trail
Challenge.

9:00..Sub Varsity Girls 4K
9:30.Sub Varsity Boys 4K
Invitational Meet Schedule:
10:00Varsity Girls 4K
10:30...Varsity Boys 5K
Entries: Sub Varsity Unlimited No team scoring
Varsity (10) Top 5 Score
Entry Fee: $25 per race (boys and girls separate) $75 maximum per school. If you only enter one race entry fee is $25. If you enter two races $50. If you enter three or four races $75. Entry fees must be received prior to the race. Checks should be made payable to George County High School.
Course: The 4k and 5K courses will start and finish in the area in front of the High School. The course has been wheel measured and is accurate. The course is grass and dirt trails . The only asphalt is the width of a road which will be crossed twice. The course will be marked with miniature flags, paint, and caution tape. Course monitors will be placed at various points on the course. Spikes or flats may be worn.
Finish Line: CFPI Timing will manage the finish line. They will also video the finish line as a back up in the event of a computer malfunction.
Entries: Web based entry procedure only. The web site will be located at
www.cfpitiming.com The entry site will be active from September 18th - Oct.9th , 2011. Please enter your team and athletes at the web site.
Deadline: Entries must be received no later than 11:59 pm, Sunday, October 9th
Packets: All team packets can be picked up beginning at 8:00 A.M. the morning of the race. All entry fees must be paid at this time.
Concessions: We will have concessions (Food and drink).
Awards: Varsity Team Trophy Boys and Girls Winner
Varsity Individual Top Twenty finishers Boys and Girls
Sub Varsity Team No Team Awards
Sub Varsity Individual Top Five finishers Boys and Girls
Results: Results will be posted prior to the awards ceremonies and also will be available at the above website after the meet.
Parking: Please park in the lot to the north of the school (between the front of campus and the football field).
Restrooms: Located under the West bleachers of the football field
