MEET: 2026 Northeast XC Invitational
INVITED: Only MHSAA and AHSAA teams allowed (per district requirement)
DATE: Saturday, August 22 (Coaches Meeting 8:00/ Races 8:30 - 10:00)
LOCATION: QV Sykes Park (Q.V Sykes Park, Lovers Lane, Meridian, MS 39307) My apologies... I can't get Milesplit to change the location in the header. It is at QV Sykes, NOT Okatibbee.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: QV Sykes course is flat and mostly on grass, with approximately half a mile on pavement (around the pond). The 2 mile and 5K course are both two loop courses.
ORDER OF EVENTS:
8:00 AM Coaches Meeting
8:30 AM Middle School 2 Mile (Boys and Girls Combined)
9:00 AM HS Girls 5K
9:30 AM HS Boys 5K
10:10 AM Team and Individual Awards
[Note: Races will be started immediately following the previous race. HS Boys race will be limited to 40 minutes)
AWARDS: Top 3 middle school boys and girls, Top 10 HS boys and Girls will receive T-Shirts. Trophy for the top Boys and Girls Varsity Teams.
ENTRY FEE: $200 per school or $20 per athlete ($150 max). Make Checks Payable to Northeast High School.
ENTRY INFO: Please enter online by Wednesday, August 19 (midnight).
SPECTATOR INFO: No charge for spectator entry. Please be mindful to drive slow and not park on the course.
