MEET: 2026 WLXC Practice Meet (2 Mile)
INVITED: Only MHSAA and AHSAA teams allowed (per district requirement)
DATE: Thursday, August 13, 2025 (4:30 PM Coaches Meeting/5:00-6:30 PM Races)
LOCATION: Okatibbee Lake Dam, East Bank Pavillion (8490 Okatibbee Dam Rd, Collinsville, MS 39325)
HOSTED BY: West Lauderdale Cross Country
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Okatibbee Classic 2 Mile Course will be used for this race. The course is mostly grass. Spikes may be used if desired. Pavilion area at the East Bank Park used for registration, start, finish and awards.
ORDER OF EVENTS:
4:30 Coaches Meeting
5:00 Middle School 2 Mile (Boys and Girls Combined)
5:30 High School 2 Mile (Boys and Girls Combined)
6:00 Runner Recognition (calling out top 10 finishers)
[Note: HS race will be started immediately following the previous race.
No Team and Individual Awards
ENTRY FEE: No charge for this meet.
ENTRY INFO: Please enter online by Monday, August 10, 2026..
SPECTATOR INFO: No charge for spectator entry. Please be mindful to drive slow and not park on the course.
