2026  MHSAA Regional Track and Field Meet

Participating Schools in Region 7-3A:

Team Entry Fees: $300.00 ( $150.00 per team)

Payable to: Amite County School District (track fee)

Entry Deadline: Friday, April 3rd at 6:00 pm

Entries for district must be made on the www.milesplit.com website. Schools that do not meet the April 3, 2026 registration deadline will be fined $100.00. Four participants from each event will qualify for the super regional meet.
Meet Assistance: Schools should be prepared to provide one coach to assist in officiating a field event and exchange zones.

10:30 am- Gates Open

12:00 pm- Field Events

  • Girls Long Jump followed by Boys
  • Boys Triple Jump followed by Girls
  • Boys Shot Put followed by Girls

  • Boys Pole Vault followed by Girls
  • Girls High Jump followed by Boys

12:30 pm- 4 x 800 Meter Relay

  • Region 7-2A Girls followed by Region 7-3A Girls
  • Region 7-2A Boys followed by Region 7-3A Boys

1:30 pm- Boys 3200 Meter Run (or at the conclusion of the 4x800m relay)

  • Region 7-2A Boys followed by Region 7-3A Boys

  • Additional Info:

    • Coaches should be sure as they are entering their athletes and relays that they are entered into the CORRECT Division Meet and the CORRECT Class/Event!!! Long Jump/Triple Jump/Shot/Discus: Each competitor shall receive 3 preliminary trials with the competitors qualifying for the finals receiving 3 additional trails. The number of competitors to qualify for the finals shall be one more than the number of scoring places, i.e. if 6 places score, there will be 7 finalists. In the finals the order of competition shall be in the reverse order of the best performance in the preliminaries, so that the best qualifier will compete last. 
    • The top four finishes from each event will qualify for Super Regionals.
    • Admission: $7.00 at the gate.
    • Concessions will be provided.
    • Teams areas will be assigned before arrival. Teams are to use the visitor's bleachers only.
