Dear Track & Field Coach:

We are looking forward to hosting your school at the 2026 Southwest Jr. High District Championship on Thursday, March 26, 2026, @ 4:00 p.m.  The meet will be held at Brookhaven High School in Brookhaven, MS. 

The meet will consist of boys and girls. The entry fee is $250 per team ($125 girls/$125 boys). Winning teams will be awarded trophies and individual Ribbons being presented to the first three places in each event. 

The schools that are a part of the division are as follows: Alexander, McComb (Denman), Rod Paige, Topeka Tilton, Wesson, Tylertown, South Pike, North Pike, Franklin County.

These are the only schools allowed in the meet.

Each team may enter two (2) participants in every event except for relay events. One team for relay events.  

Concession stands will be available for all teams. Teams must set up in the designated area of the visitor bleachers and warm-ups will be on the visitor's side of the football field.  Discus and Shot Put events will be held on the practice field. You will exit the northeast gate to get to the practice field. 

The hospitality room will be available for coaches and officials in the field house meeting room.

Timing System will be used to dictate winners.

If you will be running a little late, we will go ahead and begin on-field events and your athletes can jump in once you arrive.
