Meet Information
About the Panther Invitational:
The 2022 Panther Invitational will be held at Petal High School and Petal Primary. Both the 5k and 2 mile races will be on a grass trail around the Panther Lake, except for 25 meters of pavement that will be crossed prior to entering the trail. The meet will be chipped timed and all results will be posted within 24 hours after the completion of the Meet.
Both the 5k and 3k Courses are posted below.
Entry Fee:
The entry fee for this meet can either be mailed prior to the meet or brought to the meet and given to a Petal Coach during Packet-Pickup. The cost for the meet is $125 ($75 if ONLY bringing either girls or boys). All checks will need to be made payable to Petal High School and a receipt will be written for each team to show as copy of their payment.
Awards:
The Top 10 athletes in each race will receive a T-Shirt and the Overall Varsity and Middle School teams will receive a trophy.
We will have T-shirts and concessions for sale at the meet, as well.
Parking:
A $5.00 Parking Fee will be collected at the Parking lots. All Parents and Spectators can park at the Petal High School Softball/Baseball Fields and the Petal High School Football Field. Bus Parking will be at the Petal Primary School.

Coaches Meeting: 8:30 am
Varsity Girls 5k: 9:00am
Varsity Boys 5k: 9:45 am
Middle School Girls 3K: 10:15 am
Middle School Boys 3K: 10:45 am
Awards Ceremony: 11:15 am
