Bus parking is the lot closest to Gill Martin Stadium.
Team and Spectator seating will be located on the Home (West) side of the track.
Tents may be placed along the fence in the grassy area behind the clerking table
Concessions will be available on the home(west) side of the track
Restroom Facilities will be available on the home side of the stadium
Important Notes:Admission $6.00
Entries for district must be made on the www.milesplit.com website.
Entry Fee: $150 per school. Bring payment to the meet. Do not mail!
Schools that do not meet the April 10, 2019 deadline will not be allowed to enter the meet.
Top Four participants from each event will qualify for regional meet.
In the field events each competitor shall receive 3 preliminary trials with the competitors qualifying for the finals receiving 3 additional trails. The number of competitors to qualify for the finals shall be one more than the number of scoring places, i.e. if 6 places score, there will be 7 finalists. 6A will take 6 to the finals in field events and 4A will take 7 to the finals in field events. In the finals the order of competition shall be in the reverse order of the best performance in the preliminaries, so that the best qualifier will compete last..
George County will provide all throwing implements for boys and girls in the disc and shot. There will be no implement weigh-in as a result. You do not need to bring your implements to this meet.
Athletes may throw or jump out of order to accommodate participation in multiple events.
Athletes competing in field events should check in at the field event
Warm - ups for running events will be on the football practice field behind the East Side of the stadium.
Only coaches will be allowed on the infield
NO coaches or players will be allowed in the check in area or near the scorers tent.
Team Assignments/Judging
We will need 1 coach from each team to volunteer to help us judge events, read tapes, record, watch exchange zones and etc. Below is a list of which team will be assigned to which event. Every team will have one field event and 1 relay they will be asked to work. Student volunteers will also be stationed at each field event to assist retrieve or pull tape measures

(Both pits are located on the North end of the stadium. Boys will jump in the pit closest to the goalpostand girls will jump in the pit closest to the the 110m hurdle starting line)
Opening Heights: Girls 4'2" Boys 5'2"
All other Running Events begin as soon as the field events have ended and will be on a rolling schedule.

NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED-IF YOU DO NOT ENTER ATHLETES BY THE DEADLINE THEN THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE. ONCE THE MEET CLOSES IT WILL NOT BE REOPENED FOR LATE ENTRIES.
Awards: 1st & 2nd place teams
Ribbons will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place finisher of each event
6A Scoring: 6-4-3-2-1 (Individual Scoring with 4 teams) 6-4-2 (Relay Scoring with 4 Teams)
4A Scoring: 8-6-4-2-1 (Scoring with 5 teams) 8-6-4-2 (Relay Scoring with 5 Teams)
