Important Information
Each team may enter three (3) participants in each individual event and one team in each relay.
Athletes may participate in a maximum of four (4) events including relays.
Entry Fee: $8.00 per athlete. Make checks payable to Tylertown High School Athletics. All monies are due at the meet. Please do not mail.
Schools that do not meet the noon deadline on April 11, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. will be fined $100.00.
Gate Admission: $5.00
Scoring: The number of teams entered in each division will determine scoring for that division.
The No False Start Rule will be in effect.
The top four (4) from in each event will qualify for the Region Meet!!! (heats against time)
An automatic timing device will be used in all races. Athletes may be recalled at the start if the timing device does not start!!!
Athletes are to warm-up on the infield. On the first call athletes are to report to the Clerk of the Course. Athletes that do not report will be scratched. On the second call athletes will be released to report to the starting line or exchange zone areas. On the third call athletes are to move on to their assigned positions/lanes on the track. Athletes are to move out of the infield-fenced area at the completion of their event.
All field events are contested inside the fenced area of the Tylertown Track & Field Facility. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE THE INFIELD FENCED AREA EXCEPT ATHLETES PARTICIPATING AT THAT TIME. ATHLETES NOT COMPETING ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE INFIELD. This will be enforced!!!!
DO NOT use the gates near the scorers tent for any reason before or during the track meet.
