Dear Coaches,
Thank you for attending the Volunteer Classic, April 8, 2016, at Mississippi State University. We will be using MileSplit MS to register for this meet. When registering your athletes on MileSplit MS, be sure to give an accurate seed time/distance. All races will be seeded by their performance on MileSplit or their coachs entry. Division I Teams may enter two (2) participants in each individual event and one team in each relay, with all participants scoring. Division II Teams may enter two (2) participants in each individual event and one team in each relay with all participants scoring. Unattached competitors for both divisons will be a first come first serve basis if lanes or open. Corrections & changes may be made until entries close on Sunday April 3 @11:59 pm.
We Will be starting the field events at 12pm and the running will start as soon as the field events are done.
Coaches, please note that we will need one Coach Per School to work field events.
Parking: I will be sending maps of the MSU campus out closer to the meet for you and your parents so you will know were to park.
Here are a few guidelines for the meet:
Athletes are the only ones that will be allowed to bring water coolers, etc. Please spread the word that parents WILL NOT be allowed to bring coolers into the complex.
There will be a 11:30 coaches meeting so I can go over some vital information for any last minute running changes. This meeting will be under the blue tent in the infield. Please note there will be no scratches the day of this meet. So if any scratches need to be made please make them before online entry closes. Please note that we will run the varsity girls and junior high boys 3200m run during the field events.
Please remember no tape will be allowed to put down for marks on MSU's Track.
