LAUDERDALE COUNTY CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL

SITE: Okatibbee Lake Dam, East Bank Area , Collinsville, MS (10 miles North of Meridian, MS off Hwy 19N)

4:00PM All Boys (5K)
4:30PM All Girls (4K)
5:30PM Awards
Runners are to report to the starting line five minutes before the start of each race per the time named above! We will start as soon as the previous race is completed
(Starting line for this meet is the finish line of the Okatibbee Classic)
(Finish line for this meet is the starting line of the Okatibbee Classic, at the bottom of HeartBreak Hill)
Unlimited boys and girls entries, however please note the starting area is limited to a 4 or 5 athlete front per team!
A school may enter fewer than five runners to compete as individuals, this will NOT affect the team score
No large school/small school divisions
Boys team winner trophy and girls team winner trophy
Top 3 boys and top 3 girls winners (will recognize top 14 but only awards for top 3)

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Course is mostly grass (3 pavement crossings). Spikes may be used if desired. Great viewing of the race course! Starting line for both races is on top of the hill at the east bank pavilion. The course has mile + of down hill and the remaining course is flat. Great PR course. Maps will be available via Email and posted on race day
First aid at pavilion will be on site
3 Rest rooms with running water (no porta johns) and two playgrounds are available for use!
Entry fee: $25 per boys team / $25 per girls team Bring checks on race day please

REGISTRATION:
1. Check in at the packet pick-up upon arrival (at least 30 minutes prior to race) East Bank pavilion on top of hill
2. Team packet includes: Pins, & Numbers
*Assigned contestant numbers with the school and athletes name printed on the tear-away portion. In order to compete, all athletes will be required to have their assigned number pinned to the FRONT of their jersey.
DO NOT PIN THE TEAR AWAY PORTION TO THE JERSEY!
DO NOT WEAR A NUMBER NOT ASSIGNED TO YOUR NAME/SCHOOL!
FINISH CHUTE:
Coaches, please instruct your athletes that the finish line is at the front of the overhead inflatable chute, but walk through the complete chute unless stopped by an official, stay in line - in the order of finish according to officials. Numbers will be torn off for placement at the end of the chute. Race Director and RaceTab both will be used for scoring as well as a hard copy printout for third backup.
UNIFORMS: School issued required
CLEAN UP: Please keep the site clean by placing all trash in bags or cans!
