Another week of Mississippi cross country is in the books, so we're back to highlight more athletes through the Most Improved Series! Each week, we'll spotlight one meet and highlight athletes who made the biggest jumps compared to their performances at the same meet last year.

This week, we're featuring the Pontotoc XC Invitational.

With an improvement of over six minutes, Kimberly Morales Mendez from Independence High School. She went from 39:09 last year to 33:00 this year, dropping a total of 6:09.

Another impressive improvement is Pontotoc High School's Ally Moore, who made a significant drop while running extremely competitive times. She went from 24:16 last year to 20:41 this year, a drop of 3:35.

Many other athletes made big improvements, so check out the rest of these athletes to see how much these Mississippi athletes improved!
