Another week of Mississippi cross country is in the books, so we're back to highlight more athletes through the Most Improved Series! Each week, we'll spotlight one meet and highlight athletes who made the biggest jumps compared to their performances at the same meet last year.

This week, we're featuring the Pontotoc XC Invitational.

With an improvement of almost ten minutes, Tripp Tucker from Mooreville High School was the most improved athlete at the Pontotoc XC Invitational. He went from a 29:48 to a 20:06, totaling a drop of 9:41. This time also marks a new all-time personal best for Tripp and almost puts him below the 20-minute barrier.
