Another week of Mississippi cross country is in the books, so we're back to highlight more athletes through the Most Improved Series! This week, we'll highlight athletes who made the biggest jumps compared to their performances at this same time last year.

We will be zooming in on all performances from September 15-29, 2024, and comparing them to the same time period this year to see which athletes have improved the most.

With an improvement of almost ten minutes, Ava Harvell from Baldwyn High School is the most improved athlete in Mississippi when compared to this same time last year. Her performance at the Saltillo Invitational allowed her to break the 30-minute barrier for the first time. 

Many other athletes made big improvements, so check out the rest of these athletes to see how much these Mississippi athletes improved!
