Oxford's John Scott Kendricks re-breaks Miss. HSB PV record

OXFORD, Miss. - Oxford High senior John Scott Kendricks has once again shattered the Mississippi High School Boys Pole Vault record. In an awe-inspiring display of talent, Kendricks vaulted an incredible 17 feet and 1 inch amidst the Mississippi Track and Field post season, securing first place in the MHSAA Region 1-6A Championships in the process.

Kendricks, a University of Arkansas signee, earned his 19th consecutive Pole Vault win. As he continues his journey toward defending his MHSAA 6A Pole Vault title, Kendricks proves to be a formidable competitor as he continued to put Mississippi on the map. 

As he moves on to compete at the University of Arkansas, Kendricks leaves behind a legacy of excellence that will inspire future generations of student-athletes.
