Analysis: The Miss. High School Girls 100m dash continues to grow stronger, as the top six marks over the weekend were all 2022 Miss. 100m dash Top 10 marks, continually raising the bar week after week. Leading the way is a name we have seen lead the way a few times this year in the 'Combined Results' Rankings, and that is Clinton High's top female sprinter and one of the top sprinters in MHSAA 6A, Tacherria Lawson. Lawson hit a PR and Miss. #2 of 12.24, continually inching her way down into the sub-12 territory.
Behind Lawson, there were an abundance of Meet winners, PR's, and 2022 Miss. Top-10 marks. As a matter of fact, that is exactly what numbers 1-4 on the weekend were. Lawson, Jamecia Holman, Carmen Owen, and Tyeese Smith all won their respective meets, putting down PR's and 2022 Miss. Top-10 marks in the High School Girls 100m dash in the process.
