As some of you may have already noticed, there is a new format for MHSAA XC Regions. The change is simple - If you are looking for any kind of regional rankings in cross country, then it has XC at the end of it.
For Example:
MHSAA 1A Region 1 is the region for Track and Field
MHSAA 1A Region 1: XC is the region for Cross Country.
These would be found under the MileSplit Rankings Tab, which is to the very left of the Results Tab.
For some of you, this may not affect you at all because your region might have the same exact teams in track and cross country. This also will not affect any MAIS Schools. For others, however, if you are looking at any kind of regional rankings and it seems a little off, it may be because you are looking at track and field and not cross country, or vice versa.
I of course will triple-check and make sure that all of the cross country regional rankings are correct before the season starts. If anyone notices a team that is somewhere that they shouldn't be, please feel free to let me know and I will get it fixed.
