This would have been a very busy weekend for track teams but looking at the calendar we have five canceled meets and one that is not being timed.
Friday
Hattiesburg High Invitational Friday nice meet with 15 teams and 931 entries. By far the biggest meet of the weekend. MileSplit will cover the meet with photos and some video interviews. Kevin Cooley, D'Iberville, and the Brookhaven distance running hordes will be at this meet.
North Mississippi Medical Center Relays-Tupelo High 8 teams and 531 entries. Some good teams getting in their first meet of the season. MileSplit will cover the meet with photos and video.
Northwest Rankin'Madison Central Dual meet. Back to the old format two teams and competition should be great. MileSplit will cover with photos.
Friday and Saturday Winona High School Invitational. Nice format with the field events on Friday along with the 4X800 Relay and the 3200-meter run. Saturday will be the rest of the running events.
Saturday
Center Hill High School Invite. There will be 8 teams with 639 entries. Good competition but almost in Tennessee. Look for some good results.
Pass Christian Season Opener (Work Meet). Last year this meet produced some great marks this year however it will be an untimed meet with no results. There are six teams scheduled but only 3 registered athletes through MileSplit.
