The oldest Class 3A record on the book is Calvin Smith, Sumner Hill from 1979. His 10.44 stood for 20 years before it was tied in 1999. He is not in the Mississippi MileSplit database but is one I will be taking care of in the near future. Sumner Hill High does not exist but Sumner Hill Junior High in Clinton does. The most recent Class 6A record is Jesse Henderson, Yazoo County with his 14.03 110 meter hurdle run in 2018.
