So what to do on a Saturday morning. Well how about just going out an winning a 1600 meter run and set a meet record. That is what Madison Jones, Saltillo did this last Saturday. She lined up in the girls 1600 for 6A and 7A and ran away with a meet record 5:04.30. The time beat Kate Mattox, Starkville Mississippi fastest time run in 2016. Madison now holds the State best indoor time for the 1600 meters.
