Indoor season seems to draw athletes to the 400 meter dash. Sprinters move up from the shorter sprints and talented 800 meter runners move down for the speed work. Destini Pickens, Long Beach had her outdoor season cut short last year due to injury but look forward to her in at least one indoor meet this season. Jayda Eckford, Clinton is another sprinter in a long line of Clinton runners that competes well indoors. Last seasons splash newcomer Kennedi Sanders, Madison Central will be looking to continue climbing the charts this year also.
