Some great times this week but the Region IV meet dominates with eight of the top ten spots. Of course it was almost a perfect day Saturday at George County High School with temps in the 70s at the start and a slight breeze. As you can tell by the times and the picture above Cole Benoit, Pearl River and Matthew Mestayer, Ocean Springs fought it out to the finish with only .21 seconds between the when they crossed the line. For Cole it was a personal record and Matthew said it might as well have been as it was only one second behind his personal record set at the flat Ocean Springs course. The course was in great condition and I would have to rated slightly harder than Choctaw Trails. It is going to be a busy week this week so look for more great times.
