About Me
I ran track and crosscountry in high school at Moore, Oklahoma.
Won a state championship my senior year (1981) with a 15' record setting pole vault.
I ran track at University of Oklahoma 82-83 seasons.
I was asked to coach the vaulters at Long Beach, MS in 2006.
That year both of my vaulters made it to the state meet.
One was a 7th grader the other a 9th grader.
Last year 3 of my 4 vaulters made it to the state meet.
1 winning and 1 second place finisher.
This year my state champ moved to Ok midseason but my 9th gr girl tied the state record.
I have recently moved back to Moore, OK and look forward to watching my son compete in his senior year.
Jonathan had a great season. Moved the school record to 15'10", placed 2nd at state to Jack Whitt, Finished 3rd at Nike Outdoor Nationals raising his PR to 16'1" and will be vaulting for the University of Oklahoma on scholarship next season.
