Meet Information
This is the 2021 Mid-South Association of Homeschool Athletics XC Championship.
Location:
Quarry Fields on Boyce Thompson Dr. in Brandon, MS (directly across the road from the Brandon Amphitheater)
Events will be:
Elementary 1 mile - (3rd-5th grade)
Junior High 2 mile - (6th - 9th grade)
Varsity Girls 5K
Varsity Boys 5K
Only elementary runners 5th grade and below will be allowed to run in the 1-mile run. Runners up to the 9th grade will be allowed to run in the 2-mile run. Any runner 6th grade and up is allowed to compete in the varsity races. 10th grade and up will be required to compete in the 5K races. No athletes are allowed to compete in multiple events.
The elementary race will start at 10:00 AM and the other races will begin upon the completion of the previous race or at 30 minute intervals.
Food trucks will be on site at 11:30 for those wishing to purchase lunch. Some tables and chairs will be available at the pavilion area and once lunch is served we will start the awards ceremony between 12:30 - 1:00. This years elementary and JH awards will be top 3 individual finisher medals for boys and girls in the 1-mile and 2-mile races. Varsity awards will consist of recognition of the 2021 MSAHA ALL Conference teams (boys and girls), top three individual finisher medals for the 5K races. The team awards will be the traveling plaque and top 7 scoring runner medals for both the boys and girls champion teams.
Registration fees will be $100 per team (boys and girls are separate teams) or $25 per runner for unattached runners (non-scoring teams). If you have a varsity team your JH and Elementary will not have to pay a separate fee. If a team does not have a varsity team then the JH and elementary runners will pay the $100 fee. The maximum fee for any one organization will be $200.
