Meet Information
UPDATED INFORMATION:
We have added a second division to accommodate for public schools and homeschools participating at this events. We will have a GREEN division with homeschool participations and a YELLOW division with public school participation. Awards will be presented to both divisions.
This meet is open to all teams. The registration fee is $50 per team or $75 for two teams. A boys varsity team would be $50 or a boys and a girls varsity team would be $75 maximum. Unattached runners will be $15 each. Younger runners can participate in the open race if their team is registered in the varsity races otherwise they will pay the varsity fees to run the open race. Any runner 13 years old or older must run the 5K event.
The schedule will be:
2-mile Open Race - 3:30 PM
YELLOW Varsity Girls 5K - 4:00 PM
YELLOW Varsity Boys 5K - 4:30 PM
GREEN Varsity Girls 5K - 5:00 PM
GREEN Varsity Boys 5K - 5:30 PM
T-shirts will be awarded to the top 10 finishers in the 5K races and medallions will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in all three races.
A 1st place team trophy will be awarded for the varsity races.
The event will be held at the Petal River Park (on Hwy 42 next to the Leaf River)
Registration fees can be paid on PayPal or paid on race day at packet pick up. There will be no race day registration.
There will be a $5 charge for parking, please advise your parents prior to their arrival of this.
