2019 MHSAA District 5-6-7 Region Cross Country Championships
MHSAA REGION 5, 6 & 7 XC CHAMPIONSHIPS DATE CHANGE NOTICE!
DUE TO THE FORECAST OF INCLEMENT WEATHER ON MONDAY THE MHSAA MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASSIC HAS BEEN MOVED TO WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23. WE WILL RUN ALL OF OUR REGION 5, 6 & 7 RACES ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24!!! RACES WILL BE COMBINED AND SEPARATED FOR CHAMPIONSHIP PURPOSES!

Runners are to report to the starting line ten (10) minutes before the start of each race.
ENTRIES: Unlimited entries, only top seven from each school will count for scoring purposes and All-Region (Top 14) Teams.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Midnight Saturday, October 19!!!
ENTRY FEE: $75.00 per school. Checks MUST be made payable to: MHSAA District 6 (checks made only to the MHSAA will not be accepted!!!). Checks may be brought to the meet or mailed to Jerry Huskey, P.O. Box 721075, Byram, MS 39272-1075. Anyone having any questions please contact Woody Barnett @ 601-624-7822!!
RACES: Regions that are run together will be separated for individual and team results!!!

AWARDS: Medals to top 3 individuals in each race, All Region Certificates to top 14 in each race & Region Team trophies
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Course is grass and spikes can be used if desired. All races are 5000 meters. Split times will be called at the mile and 2-mile marks.
CHUTE: Please, instruct your team to keep moving all the way through the chute!
CLEAN UP: Please keep area clean by placing all trash in cans and trash bags provided during registration!
UNIFORM: Each athlete must wear a school issued uniform.
RESULTS: Results will be posted on a results board following the completion of each race. Complete results will be posted on the on http://ms.milesplit.com the evening of the meet.
