Mississippi Boys Track Performer of the Week(Feb. 23-Mar. 1)

After another week of indoor track & field action in Mississippi, it's time to vote for the MileSplit Mississippi boys performer of the week.

The poll closes Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET.

This Week's Nominees:

Sean Fairley, West Harrison High School (Mississippi): Threw 196-1 in the discus at the Biloxi High Invitational for a new Mississippi HS record and U.S. #1. 

Keiston Glasper, Terry High School (Mississippi): Jumped 6-10 at Rumble in the Jungle for a new state lead and a U.S. #3. This mark was a 4-inch outdoor PR for him.

Carter Parks, Clinton High School (Mississippi): Ran 13.89 in the 100m hurdles at the Brookhaven Speed Trials, claiming a new state lead and a U.S. #8. He is the only athlete to have run below 14 this season.

Braden PickettPearl High School (Mississippi): Ran 21.70 and 49.88 in the 100m and 400m at the Rankin County Championships, winning both races. 

Joseph Ross, Saint Patrick Catholic High School(Mississippi): Ran 4:18.65 and 1:59.51 in the 1600m and 800m at Biloxi High Invitational, winning both races. He is now ranked 1st in the 1600m for Mississippi and 2nd in the 800m.

Jonathan Rockett, Clinton High School(Mississippi): Threw 54-8.5 in the shotput for a win and state lead at the Brookhaven Speed Trials.

Leondre Franklin, Harrison Central High School(Mississippi): Ran 38.12 in the 300m hurdles, claiming a new state lead. He is the only athlete in the state to have run below 39 this season.
