Another week of Mississippi cross country is in the books, so we're back to highlight more athletes through the Most Improved Series! Each week, we'll spotlight one meet and highlight athletes who made the biggest jumps compared to their performances at the same meet last year.
This week, we're featuring the Watson Classic 2025!
Leading the way is Emmi Willis from Neshoba Central High School. Compared to last year, Emmie dropped over five minutes and finished almost 100 positions higher than last year.
Pictured on the cover is Parker Lee from St. Andrew's Episcopal School, who clocked an improvement of almost three minutes to run a 20:31.
