At the Fleet Feet Invitational, middle-distance ace Mallory Streetman got her first win of the season on the very tough Northwest Rankin course, going 23:25 on the hilly terrain and a very hot day.

On the boy's side, it was 2020 MHSAA 2A XC State Champion William Fugate taking down Jon Smith and Grayson Edwards in 18:20, just 20 seconds off of what he ran last week in a solo effort in the 2nd half and some warmer temperatures. Fugate has had a fantastic season thus far, and it will be exciting to see what kind of times he runs whenever the Fall Weather kicks in.

And finally, Evelyn Mata-O'Dwyer made sure that Clinton High School had top 2 finishes across the board, as she finished 2nd in the Varsity Girls 5k.
