Okay folks this is the official MHSAA overall Boys State Meet records. This is not just from the Mississippi MileSplit database and must be separate from the Mississippi All Time best records. Remember a MHSAA record can only be made at the State Championships.
The oldest State Meet field record is Greg Martin, Pascagoula High with a discus throw of 189'11" throw from 1976. This throw is also further than the Mississippi MileSplit reported All Time record. This will be rectified this week.
The oldest State Meet running record is George Kersh, Pearl High with his 1:49.24 800 meter run from 1987. He also holds the State Best record of 1:46.58 in 1987.
