School: Oxford High School

Q: What does your training look like right now given the current situation?

A: Coach Patton sent us a weekly workout to do and we would run on our own.

Q: What are you doing to stay busy other than run right now?

A: I mostly play xbox with my friends and try to do something at home

Q: What was your most memorable race/moment?

A: Either winning a championship in 4A private school or winning the 800 meter at state.

Q: What was the funniest thing that happened during your running career?

A: Funniest thing that happened was with me, I did high jump and my school bought brand new bars. My first jump I broke it and we had to use a pole vault bar.

Q: Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?

A: Everyone I ran against, everybody I ran with wanted that 1st place ribbon. But my biggest one was with Bobby Bennett, who isn't a senior but a really good runner.

Q: What was your greatest accomplishment

A: Probably just making it through high school

Q: If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?

A: I would've switched schools a long time ago. Training at OHS is tough but it pays off

Q: What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

A: Getting in shape, mentally and physically to run.

Q: What will you miss the most?

A: The people mostly, we all had fun at track meets talking to people from different teams and talking to our own teammates.

Q: What advice would you give to younger athletes?

A: Train hard, enjoy every meet and race, because you never know what can happen and because high school ends fast.

Q: What kind of an impact has your coach had on you and your team?

A: My coach is the best coach, he helps us out a ton, whether it's running related or school or anything. He's a great person and a great coach.

Q: What are your college plans?

A: I plan to attend Ole Miss

Q: Who would you like to say 'thank you' to?

A: I would like to say thank you to my coaches, thank you for giving me the chance to run for y'all.

A: Steak probably.

Q: If you could be any animal what would you choose? and why?

A: I'd be a dog, everyone loves dogs.
