Rancho Olympia Spring Break Invitational Review

Scott Kendricks the father and coach of Sam Kendricks, Oxford High,  University of Mississippi and World Champion pole vaulter thought he would have his own pole vault event. This was held at the training facility build just for Sam at Scotts ranch near Oxford, Mississippi.

The boys competition was intense with Ben Woolhouse, Tupelo Christian and Jake Moody, Clinton High tying for first place with vaults of 14'3.25. This was a personal record for Jake.

John Scott Kendricks, Oxford High finished in third place on fewer misses at 13'9.25. He edged out Aaron Fortenberry, Brandon High, Reed, Finseth, Saint Andrew's and Kirby Berch, Clinton High. Yes you figured it out John Scott is the younger brother of Sam Kendricks.

First place was easy with Raylynn Gibbs, Germantown High (MS) winning at 11'0.25". Raylynn is a senior for you college coaches plus that vault was her personal record. Not bad this early in the season.

Second place was Samantha Vo, Desoto Central 8'9.25. Sarah Giray, Lafayette High was third on fewer missed at 7'3.25 "over Anna Lafferty, Lafayette High and Madelyn Roesch, Saint Aloysius.
