Elsie Wilbanks, Corinth High ran a converted 2 mile to 3200 meters to finish with a 12:51.96 at the MHSAA Middle School Classic and the top spot in the Middle School rankings.
There is a problem with the ranking as anyone who might have been registered for a middle school race under the high school and then as the Junior High or Middle School for the Middle School Championship they have two entries under their name.
The second problem is that the MAIS ran all their meets as Junior High and so there were 9th grade athletes competing. This means that the results have to be enter in the High School area. So many of the 7th and 8th grade runners do not show up in the Middle School results. You will have to go to the results by grade.
