Mississippi Weekly Preview - Week 7

Monday

Simpson Academy - 52 teams entered. While not all teams have enough to score as a team the 911 entries are impressive. Having the home school race in a different race allows the public schools a chance to race this course against the private schools. Ryan Skates, Cathedral Unit leads the boys over Jacob Williams, Presbyterian Christian by just eleven seconds going into the meet. On the girls side it is Emma Claire James, West Lauderdale with a nice lead and her experience running the hills at Lake Okatibbee will help on the Simpson Academy course.

Tuesday

JPS Challenge - Meet 6 - This week has 26 teams and 452 entries entered. Grayson Edwards, Northwest Rankin is the lead boy entered and could break 17 minutes if he runs. Aubrey Britt, Loyd Star has an easy lead on the girls side.

Middle School Challenge - Meet 4 - Only 10 teams and 126 entries this week but should be some great competition.
