A Track & Field Officiating Clinic is being offered to those of you who are interested in hosting or officiating track meets of all levels (High School, Junior High/Middle School, College or Youth Club.)

REASONS FOR OFFICIAL CERTIFICATION

  1. Coaches become more knowledgeable about the rules.

  2. Better quality of officiating (certification) at our meets.

  3. Reduces protests and arguments concerning the rules.

  4. Improves the professionalism of our meets.

  5. Reduces time meet host needs to explain rules to inexperienced officials.


CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 

There are several levels of official certification through the USATF Track & Field Officials Certification process one may obtain if they so desire. We will discuss these Track & Field Officials Certification levels at this clinic and let you decide which level you want to pursue if you are interested in doing so.


COST OF THE CLINIC

Cost for the Officials Certification Clinic is $35 and the USATF Membership is $30.

.6 CEU Credits are available to Teachers, Coaches and others through participation in this clinic at a cost of $25.
